First, you need to locate the grease trap before cleaning. Procedure for Restaurant Grease Trap Cleaning
• The first thing you need to do is waiting for a few minutes so that the water cools down inside the tank especially after the wastewater has been emptied from the three-compartment sink or automatic dishwasher. By doing this, the grease would be floating on top thereby making it easy to scoop.
• Next is detaching the lid gently from the grease trap with wrench or crowbar. As the grease sludge often settles at the top which makes it easy for collection.
