Actually, many of these products do not break down the grease but rather just separate it from the water. This, in turn, allows the grease to flow down into the wastewater system and ultimately getting clogged there. In addition to that, the ingredients mixed in these products are questionable. Ultimately, your city or state can actually prohibit these products from using.
